In Chicago, approximately 25% of all adults read at a first to second grade reading level. This means that tasks such as reading bus signs, reading bills, and signing documents may be difficult.

Tutoring
Students gain access to our network of more than 200+ tutors for possible extra learning time. We encourage students to request a personal tutor to address their specific needs.
More Access to the World Around Them
Students learn how to read, understand, and discuss books, newspapers, and other written materials within their day-to-day lives. By third grade level students can manage their own money, read directions on a map, understand doctors' prescriptions, and food labels.
